In fact, most Enron defendants did not appear. And the fact that “cast” is being used sounds like my pet peeve, mistaking Enron people (or anyone else for that matter) for cartoons and “characters”.Īs for why Scott did not “appear” in the movie (as opposed to being “cast”), not every Enron executive was discussed in the movie. As for why he was not “cast”… basically nobody accused of crimes was going to willingly sit down and explain themselves before trial. No, Scott Yeager is not in Smartest Guys In The Room.
